Emma Watson Trésor Make-Up Tutorial

Seems like every fashion magazine I've been flipping through, I keep seeing the same but oh-so-glamorous Emma Watson editorial for Lancôme's Trésor perfume.

Emma's look is simple yet pretty.

Here's my version...

So we can ease up on the redundancy, the first thing you want to do it prep your face and eyes using a face primer and an eye primer.

Here I used the Sheer Cover Base Perfector for the face and E.L.F Eye Shadow Primer for the eyes.
Then you want to use your favorite foundation  and concealer to cover any blemishes.

1.) Fill in the eye brows with a color a shade darker than your original hair color.

2.) Apply a light shimmery purple to the inner tear duct area. This will add light to the eye and make them appear brighter.

3.) Apply a darker shimmery purple to all over the lid.

4.) Take a medium purple color and swipe it along the lower lash line.

5.) Line your upper lash line and water line with a black/kohl eyeliner.

6.) With a deeper purple, smudge out the black on the upper lash line. I used MAC's Blu-Noir.

7.) Add your favorite mascara.

8.) After conditioning the lips with your favorite chap stick, apply a plum-y lip color.

9.) This part is completely optional. Add a pinky cream color blush to the back of the cheeks and add a bit of illuminator on the apples of the cheeks just to give the face more dimension.

You're all done!

This look is AMAZING for brown and green eyes!

Lady Gaga's Marry the Night Make-Up Tutorial

I'm sure everyone has heard Lady Gaga's Marry the Night on the radio these last couple of months.. Have you seen the music video?

If not, here's your chance:

She has many different looks in this video, but the one that most stood out to me was the scene with her in the denim.

Here's my version..

1. Start off with a face primer to prevent the foundation from wearing off.

(Laura Geller Spackle Under Make-Up Primer)

2. Apply your favorite foundation all over the face.

(Almay Smart Shade in Light)

3. Next, use your favorite concealer to conceal blemishes, under circles and darkness.

(Erase Paste by Benefit Cosmetics)

4. Prime the eye lids to prevent the eyeshadow from crease and wearing off during the day.
--Remember to blend it in.

(E.L.F. Eyelid Primer)

5. Starting from the end of your top lash line, take any dark plumy color and blend it from the end of your top lash line, through the crease, toward the ridge of your nose.

6. Apply a light pink-ish color to your lid.

7. Line your top lash line and bring out to a dramatic wing.

(L'Oreal Liquid Eyeliner in Carbon Black)

8. This part can be tricky. Take a gel eye liner and a thin liner brush. Start about a millimeter down from your tear duct and draw a line from that point all the way up connecting that line with the wing from the top liner.

(Maybelline Eye Studio in Blackest Black)

*This step is completely optional. If you can't achieve this method of lining your lower lash line, then you can just line the bottom lash line however you feel comfortable.

9. Fill in the eye brows to make them more defined. Be sure to use the color closest or a shade lighter than your hair color.

(Leather, Kat Von D)

10. Contour your face using the E 3 method to warm up the face. Apply the color to your temple, through the  hollow of your cheeks, down the bottom of the jaw.

11. Add your favorite Red lipstick.

(Are You Red-y by Maybelline)

You're finished!

Next Upcoming Fashion Designer, Viktor Luna

From Season 9 of Project Runway, Viktor Luna came in third place with his amazing edgy but feminine designs. Just from my knowledge of fashion, I am personally (along with others) predicting Viktor Luna to become an icon in the fashion industry.

Hailey Johnson, a Lexington Missouri native sporting a Viktor Luna t-shirt, tweeted ", Could you PLEASE make/start selling your beautiful garments for me to buy/enjoy!" sending him this picture:

Luna later Retweeted the picture and responded " the new collection has a lot to choose from and it will be stream live on my web site details soon!"

I later checked out his web site and fell in love. I reccomend this desinger to every girl who loves to wear clothes with a bit more edge. Here are a few of his garments:

10 Favorite People in 2011

This post is celebrities in 2011 that have influenced fashion, promoted fashion or... that are freaking awesome in general!

She has to be one of my most favorite people in the world. To me, she has the total package. Adele is beautiful, talented and driven. Even with her illness, she still has a way of capturing peoples' hearts with her lyrics.

She is just one of my favorites in general. Katherine is SO funny and so beautiful. I could watch her movies all day long!

Jennifer made a 'huge' change in 2011 with her Weight Watchers ad and dropping to an impressive size 6. I think she is beautiful at any size.

You may notice her in movies, but I know her from the infamous J'adore by Dior ad. Her latest ad has to be one of my favorite with the mini blasts' from the past. You see many actresses from the early 1900's, some of which include Grace Kelly and Marilyn Monroe; two big influences in the beauty and film world. Not to mention that Charlize is drop dead gorgeous!

If you haven't seen it, here's the ad campaign:

With her song, Born This Way reaching the top of the charts, Lady GaGa will forever remain an icon. She has influenced the shyest people to step out of their comfort zones and take a chance.

She makes this list because she is one of my personal favorites. My favorite show and movies to watch are Sex and the City. I mean, what girl can not enjoy them? Carrie Bradshaw is my "hero", if you will. SJP is extremely gorgeous as well!

Her Dolce and Gabbana ad was SO amazing to me. She defiantly showed her more glamorous side.
Here's her ad:

Missoni made an amazing decision by opening up the brand to a lower price point by having a secondary line for Target in 2011. All of the clothes were affordable and sales went over extremely well.

The whole Obama family has made a huge impact on the US. From being the first "black" first family to President Obama ending the war on Iraq. Michelle Obama, on the other hand is her own entity. She has her own personal style that the tabloids and fashion industry can appreciate.

What needs to be said about Blake? I bet almost EVERYONE can agree she is beautiful no matter what. She is also a personal favorite of mine in 2011.
