10 Favorite People in 2011

This post is celebrities in 2011 that have influenced fashion, promoted fashion or... that are freaking awesome in general!

She has to be one of my most favorite people in the world. To me, she has the total package. Adele is beautiful, talented and driven. Even with her illness, she still has a way of capturing peoples' hearts with her lyrics.

She is just one of my favorites in general. Katherine is SO funny and so beautiful. I could watch her movies all day long!

Jennifer made a 'huge' change in 2011 with her Weight Watchers ad and dropping to an impressive size 6. I think she is beautiful at any size.

You may notice her in movies, but I know her from the infamous J'adore by Dior ad. Her latest ad has to be one of my favorite with the mini blasts' from the past. You see many actresses from the early 1900's, some of which include Grace Kelly and Marilyn Monroe; two big influences in the beauty and film world. Not to mention that Charlize is drop dead gorgeous!

If you haven't seen it, here's the ad campaign:

With her song, Born This Way reaching the top of the charts, Lady GaGa will forever remain an icon. She has influenced the shyest people to step out of their comfort zones and take a chance.

She makes this list because she is one of my personal favorites. My favorite show and movies to watch are Sex and the City. I mean, what girl can not enjoy them? Carrie Bradshaw is my "hero", if you will. SJP is extremely gorgeous as well!

Her Dolce and Gabbana ad was SO amazing to me. She defiantly showed her more glamorous side.
Here's her ad:

Missoni made an amazing decision by opening up the brand to a lower price point by having a secondary line for Target in 2011. All of the clothes were affordable and sales went over extremely well.

The whole Obama family has made a huge impact on the US. From being the first "black" first family to President Obama ending the war on Iraq. Michelle Obama, on the other hand is her own entity. She has her own personal style that the tabloids and fashion industry can appreciate.

What needs to be said about Blake? I bet almost EVERYONE can agree she is beautiful no matter what. She is also a personal favorite of mine in 2011.

Purple Smokey Eye: Adele's Instyle Magazine Article

Adele has graced the scene with her beautiful voice and charming looks. Her interview with the April issue of Instyle magazine was nothing less than perfection. Adeles beauty will be the talk of the century.

Here's my version..

1.) Prime your whole eye with NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk. This will make whatever color you put on your lid, pop.

2.) With a medium purple color, take an angled liner brush and trace a line going from a cetemeter above your tear duct and extend it out past your lash line; through the crease.
(Maybelline Positivly Purple Pallete, color #1)

3.) Take a dark purple and smudge it over the line you created with the medium purple.
(MAC: Blu-Noir)

4.) With a blending brush, blend the color up toward your brow bone.

5.) Take a light purple; add this color to your brown bone and tear duct area.
(Maybelline: Positivly Purple pallete, color #3)

6.) Remember the color you drew the line in your crease with? Take that color and put it all over the lid. Then, go in with a color a bit darker and blend it over the color you just added.
(Maybelline: Positivly Purple pallete, color: #3 & Kat Von D: Beethoven, color: Galeano )

7.) Go back to the NYX Eye Pencil and line the water line.

8.) With the same dark purple used from before, smudge this on your lower lash line. Then, go back in with a black and smudge it in the with dark purple.

9.) With a sapphire blue gel liner, line your upper lash line and make a small wing.
(Maybelline Eye Studio: Sapphire)

Foundation: Almay Pure Blends in Honey Miel

Lips: Maybelline Color Sensational in On The Mauve and Avon Glazewear in Darling Pink

Blush: Clinique in Cupid
